How is an industry different from a niche?
An industry is the broad operating system. A niche is a coherent specialization inside it with a narrower value chain, professional vocabulary and decision environment. This architecture contains 12 industries and 40 niches per industry.
Why not organize all 480 pages by keywords?
Keywords describe demand for language; they do not reliably define entity boundaries. The map uses operational coherence first and search demand second, reducing duplication and cannibalization.
Can one niche belong to two industries?
Each niche receives one canonical owner based on its primary operating context. Cross-industry applications are represented by links and intersection pages when the combined context materially changes the model.
What makes an industry example precise?
A precise example names the unit of work, actors, decision, evidence, threshold and consequence. It does not merely replace nouns inside a generic business template.
