From Analysis to Findings
A result becomes a finding only when its evidence, method, interpretation, uncertainty and boundary remain attached. A finding must survive challenge and support a proportionate decision without claiming more than the analysis established.
A finding is not a result.It is a tested statement.
A result is an analytical output: a difference, estimate, pattern, relationship or model score. A finding is a bounded claim about what that output means after evidence quality, alternatives, error and applicability have been evaluated.
A finding joins observable evidence to a defensible interpretation and keeps uncertainty visible.
It states what was observed, in which population and period, through which method, compared with what, with which remaining uncertainty, and why a specific conclusion is warranted. If any of those components disappear, the finding becomes harder to inspect and easier to overextend.

Every component answers a different verification question. The order is not cosmetic: it prevents a conclusion from becoming detached from the evidence that earned it.

Synthesis begins by asking whether evidence addresses the same subject, construct, population, timeframe and claim. Agreement across misaligned observations does not create convergence.

Adjust five dimensions. The index uses a weighted geometric mean, so a severe weakness cannot be fully hidden by strength elsewhere.
BOUNDED DECISION SUPPORT
Current use: supports a reversible, monitored action inside the studied boundary. Stronger or irreversible action requires higher robustness and bias control.
Evidence does not choose.Consequences choose the threshold.
Move the probability that the interpreted state is real. The preferred action changes because acting, waiting and testing have different outcomes under true and false states.
TEST / MONITOR
A reversible test has the strongest expected value at the current evidence state. It buys information while limiting the cost of a false interpretation.

A finding can be concise on the surface while remaining deeply inspectable underneath. Each claim receives an evidence lineage, analytical operation, uncertainty state, permitted language and response.
